Morning Lessons (11-10-11)

It was five in the morning and my dad asked me if wanted to join them eat breakfast. I said “Okay. 5minutes.” After 5 minutes, I went down the stairs, got some water, and sat down in the dining area. I enjoyed my food simply because it shows the love of our dad for us, not mentioning how good he cooks also.

So, what happened then was that he turned the radio on, looked for station 84.6 which is Veritas – a radio station on evangelization. Of course, I already knew that there is probably a very nice story that I can remember and that I can learn from, which I did.

The story started with a description of a balloon – that it needs helium or gas to be able to float in the air, but after a few days or so, the balloon will lose it and get smaller or even have a darker color, so what will happen then is that it will not float in the air.

Bro. Bo Sanchez said that we, people, are like balloons. The air in the balloon symbolizes hope, that because of hope that we are able to get what we want, it is because of our dreams that we become eager in life. However, if we ran out of air (hope), what happens is that there is no progress, we can’t float up or see new perspectives in life.

Friends, here is a piece of advice:
Let us be balloons filled with air (hope). Let’s have dreams. Let’s aim all of them. Take a look at other perspectives, maybe as we go along through life, we might see that there are other things better that what we want. Let’s not lose hope in ourselves.
